Students are bound to observe the general regulations and other rules of discipline of the school. They are also bound to observe the regulations, which the management may frame from time to time. In particular, their attention is drawn to the following:- .

  1. Every working day from Monday to Friday is divided into two sessions. The morning session commences at 8.30 a.m. and concludes at 12.30 p.m. and afternoon lasts from 1.10 p.m. to 3.15 p.m. The working hours on Saturdays are from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
  2. The time between 8.15 a.m. to 8.35 a.m. will be study hour. The students should sit in their respective classrooms and spend the time in useful study. No student should be found loitering about or idling away the study time. They are expected to be on time for classes. Late comers will be marked absent.
  3. There will be school assembly on Wednesday. Students who do not attend the school assembly will be marked absent for the forenoon session.
  4. On the teacher’s arrival into the classroom, the students must rise and remain standing till they are asked to sit, or till the teacher takes her seat. When the attendance roll is called each one must rise and answer to her name.
  5. Running, playing or shouting inside the school building is not allowed. A student is not permitted to enter any classroom other than her own without permission.
  6. Punctuality and regular attendance is insisted upon. Leave of absence from school must be applied for previously in the form supplied in the calendar. The general terms of excuse for ‘some business’, for ‘out of station’ etc, are not accepted.
  7. When a student has been absent from school without the Leave Note for some reason not foreseen earlier e.g. illness, she must on returning to school bring a note of excuse from her parents or guardian in the form supplied in the School Calendar. Should the absence exceed three days the Leave Note must be forwarded to the Headmistress.
  8. Absence without leave from tests and examinations and at time of reopening of classes after the holidays shall be viewed seriously. In case of illness and absence from tests and examinations a Medical Certificate shall be required.
  9. A student is not permitted to leave the school premises before time either during the morning or afternoon session unless leave is requested by the parent or guardian personally for valid reasons.
  10. Irregular attendance, insubordination to teachers, habitual in- attention to schoolwork, obscenity in word or act are sufficient reasons for the temporary or permanent dismissal of a student.
  11. The school does not hold itself responsible for the student’s conduct outside its premises. It however takes cognisance of any serious misconduct of its students committed outside its precincts and should any serious charge be fairly substantiated, the guilty shall be punished according to the gravity of the offence.
  12. Progress Records will be issued after each Semester Examination. They shall be returned to the class teacher duly signed by the parent or guardian within three days of their issue.
  13. (a) It is mandatory to wear the prescribed school uniform regularly by the students which is modest and becoming school children. On M.P.T. days the student should wear T-Shirt and Track pant. An additional like the scarf, burqa, shawl and other objectionable gear are not permitted to be worn with the uniform in the school campus should be of knee length. (b) Students are not permitted either individually or in group to hold activities or worship other than those organized by the school authority within the campus. (c) Students are not permitted to put Mehandi / Nail polish on their hands and fingers.
  14. A student must respect the members of the staff and salute them on meeting them for the first time during the day.
  15. Books, magazines, newspapers, C.D’s, cassettes, cameras Mobile Phones etc are not allowed to bring to school except with teachers/Headmistress permission.
  16. All the students must possess a copy of the school a Calendar which is to be brought to the class on all working days.
  17. The students are expected to speak in English, within the school premises.
  18. The student must equip themselves with a complete outfit of everything that is necessary for their studies. They must use their own materials and be responsible for their safety. The school cannot make itself responsible for books, money, clothes and other articles that are lost.
  19. The students must take care of the school property. Damages should be made good.
  20. Attendance at Value Education classes and examination is obligatory to all students.
  21. The students who depend on public conveyance to come to the school should leave their homes early enough to avoid peak hours and be at school well in time.
  22. The students must not join any club or society or make any engagements outside school that would interfere with their studies without the Headmistress permission. They are not allowed play in any team against the school.
  23. The Students are not allowed to take part in political agitation directed against the authority of the lawful government.
  24. The Catholic students are advised to go for Confession at least once a month and everyday Mass if possible. Catechism/Value Education should be considered equally important as the other subjects.
  25. Letters officially addressed to the Headmistress must be accompanied by reply enclosed postage. Any letters to the pupils addressed to the School are subject to scrutiny by the Headmistress.
  26. The students should adhere to the discipline of the school whole-heartedly. They should follow the bells scrupulously, particularly the bells rung after the recess, both in the forenoon and the afternoon. They should never leave the school premises during these intervals.
  27. Books, Umbrellas, Tiffins, etc... should have a name or mark by which the owner can be easily known and all stray or unclaimed property should be brought to the Headmistress’s Office.
