The Education Department office, Mangaluru South Zone and St. Mary’s English Higher Primary School, Falnir, Mangaluru organized Cluster Level Primary Boys and Girls Athletic Meet 2023-24, at Mangala Stadium ground on 5th October at 9.00 am.
The inauguration function started with a grand welcome to the Chief Guest Mr. Abdul Rauf, Corporator, President Sr. Maria Kripa A.C., Joint Secretary of St. Mary’s institutions, Mr. H. R. Ishwar, B.E.O., Mr. Ravishankar Nilavar, T.P.O., Mrs. Lily Pais, President of Taluk and District Level Physical Education Teacher Association, by the school band followed by the march past. The sport meet was declared open by releasing the balloons followed by hoisting the sports flag and lighting the sports torch. This was followed by oath taking ceremony.
Sr. Gracy A.C. assistant headmistress welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest Mr. Abdul Rauf, President Sr. Maria Kripa A.C. and all the dignitaries on the dais.
The different sports events on different categories went on well and came to an end with the prize distribution and closing ceremony.
