The Guides Movement started the year 1909, by Lord Baden Powell for young girls. This movement helps the students to inculcate in them a good discipline, helping nature, to be courageous, confidence to face life, to become independent in thinking etc. Their motto is "Be Prepared”
The investiture ceremony was held for Guides of class 5, in which the Guides of class 6 and 7 welcomed their younger Guide sisters to the movement. Sr. Maisie A.C the respected headmistress enrolled them to the by giving them scraf and the badge. She also gave them an inspiring message and appreciated their discipline.
On the same day, the Guides of class 6 completed their ‘Prathama Sopana’ in the school and the Guides of class 7 completed their ‘Dwitiya Sopana’ exam in Bharath Guides Bhavan at Lalbagh.
